TOURS:

• 1 Day "Classic Bucovina Tour": If you come for just one day I recommend visiting the best 4 of the painted monasteries: Humor, Voronet, Moldovita and Sucevita and the black pottery workshop in Marginea.

• 2 Days Bucovina Tour (options): If you are going to stay longer, I recommend the above locations plus Dragomirna, Patrauti, Arbore, Bogdana, Putna;
    or to: Probota, St John in Suceava, Slatina, Rasca;
    or extra the Salt Mine in Cacica (1791) and the Fortress of Suceava (1388).
    There are also some unknown stone churches that are well worth seeing.

• Southern of Bucovina Tour: This tour includes the monasteries of Neamt County: Agapia, Varatec, Neamt, Secu or Sihastria and optional the Fortress of Neamt. Some of these can be visited going to Transylvania.

In addition, I offer tours starting in Bucovina and going to other parts of Romania:

• Maramures Tour (1 - 2 days): Driving to Maramures takes about 4 hours crossing the Eastern Carpathians mountains through Prislop Pass (1416m). On the route we'll see the village of Ciocanesti (in top 10 most beautiful villages of Romania). In Maramures we will visit some of the ancient Wooden Churches, the "Merry Cemetery" in Sapanta, Sighet Memorial (a Communist-era prison) and remote villages of genuine anthropological interest.

• Transylvania Tour (1 - 2 days): Driving to Sighisoara in the Saxon area of Transylvania takes about 6 hours crossing the Eastern Carphatians mountains through the spectacular Bicaz Gorges. In Transylvania we can also visit Sibiu or Brasov and some of the Saxon fortified churches such as: Biertan, Apold, Viscri, Prejmer.

• Republic of Moldova Tour (2 days): I recommend to visit some of the most important places: Capriana Monastery, Cricova Winnery, Old Orhei, the city of Chisinau and optional Milestii Mici Winery. Also we can visit the fortress of Soroca. Accommodation is in a family house in an archaic village in Old Orhei.
